My Place Was Taken is a four piece Deathcore-Hardcore band from Matamoros, Mexico. It was formed at the end of 2014 by vocalist Jesus Salaz and guitarist Abraham Barberi. Their purpose is to play the music that they enjoy, but mainly to communicate a message of faith, hope, and love through their music. They released their self-produced 5 tracks EP in 2015 gaining some attention from the Mexican metal scene. They have played in several cities and festivals across the north and central part of Mexico, and Texas. At the end of 2016 they went back into the studio to record their second EP “Imparables” and was released at the beginning of 2018 through Rottweiler Records. They are in the process of recording a full length LP that will be release at the end of 2019.

This single is taken from the debut E.P. "Imparables" released in 2018 through Rottweiler Records.
